Finikounda’s location is very convenient for that purpose as it lies within close distance from all the historical sites. Only 12km West of Finikounda, you should explore the castle of Methoni, one of the biggest and most beautiful castles in Europe. Located 11.3km north of the city of Methoni, the historical city of Pylos offers you plenty of sites to visit such as the Nestor’s palace, Nestor’s cave and the local Museum.
